Baby Day

Smiley, squishy, faces are great good reasons to put Baby Day into the spotlight. Although it’s hard to pinpoint why, or where this very day came from, you can speculate! Anybody that has ever yearned for, had, or known an infant, could list a large number of explanations why babies are special. Babies are not only cute, but they're innocent in ways that allows you to see goodness on the planet. They provide you with hope, happiness, thus making you strive to become better person. Also would you request for?Mark Baby Day inside your calendar, and employ it to cherish the infant you've, or arrange for the infant you would like. Should you aren’t thinking about making babies in the near future, or perhaps your ‘baby’ is travelling in 6 inch heels, or sporting a 5 o’clock shadow, take this very day to celebrate having a niece, nephew, or grandchild. Demonstrate to them how fortunate you are feeling to possess them inside your existence, and also have a fantastic day.Alternatively, if you will find no babies inside your family, why don't you make a container for any new mother inside your neighbourhood, or graciously donate to some baby related charitable organisation? Make a move precious this Baby Day!

Baby fluttering all day long....?

sometimes your baby is going to have his/her on and off days. days where he/she will be moving constantly, and other days where you wont feel a peep. my son would get the hiccups in the morning... sleep most of the day, and be awake as soon as i got home until in the middle of the night. he was a silly baby in my womb. always moving around.

At first the kicks you notice will be few and far between. In fact, you may feel several movements one day and then none the next. Although your baby is moving and kicking regularly, many of his jerks and jolts aren't yet strong enough for you to feel. But later in the second trimester, those reassuring kicks will become stronger and more regular.Every baby has his own pattern of activity, and there's no correct one. As long as your baby's usual activity level doesn't change too much, chances are he's doing just fine. Once you're feeling kicks regularly, pay attention to them and let your practitioner know right away if you notice a decrease in your baby's movement. Less movement may signal a problem, and you'll need a nonstress test or biophysical profile to check on your baby's condition.

Once you're in your third trimester, some practitioners will recommend that you spend some time each day counting your baby's kicks. There are lots of different ways to do these "kick counts," so ask for specific instructions.

Here's one common approach: Choose a time of day when your baby tends to be active. (Ideally, you'll want to do the counts at roughly the same time each day.) Sit quietly or lie on your side so you won't get distracted. Time how long it takes for you to feel ten distinct movements — kicks, twitches, and whole body movements all count. If you don't feel ten movements in two hours, stop counting and call your midwife or doctor.

4 day old baby, sleeping question?

4 day old baby, sleeping question?

Hi New Mom!

Since your baby is so young, it is very possible that she does have days and nights mixed up. Many babies tend to be awake at night while in the womb, while they sleep comfortable during the day, when mom walks around.

It can take a little while for the baby to get used to being awake during day time instead.

There are several things you can do to help your baby.

* Make sure she gets as much day light as possible during the day. Go outside with her in the stroller or baby carrier (avoid direct sun light, though) or be close to the windows as much as you can when indoors. For example, make it a habit to sit close to a window when feeding her. You can even put her bed close to a window as long as it isn't draughty or direct sun light. Don't ever draw the curtains at daytime when your baby is asleep.

* You can also play with her and stimulate her as much as possible the little time she is awake. During the next few weeks to come, she is likely to start staying awake for longer periods. Talk to her, show her stuffed animals with black and white stripes, sing to her and so on.

* At night, don't change diapers unless you really have to (poop!). If you have to change diapers, keep the lights as low as possible, don't talk and be fast. Use a pajama or sleep bag that enables diapering without undressing your baby completely.

If you do all this, your baby will learn to separate day from night.

Secondly, you baby doesn't want to sleep without you. Well, she's been very close to you for nine months, no wonder that where she feels really safe.

To help your baby sleep better in her crib you can:

# Make it smaller. Put rolled blankets in circle, to make her sleeping place as small as possible. Newborn babies want to have something soft close to their heads. Just make sure you don't put anything in the bed that can fall over her face.

# Roll one of your used tops and put it close to her head as part of the small bed you're making for her.

# Before putting her back in his bed, make sure it is not too cold. You can either put a warm (not hot) water bottle (or something similar) in the bed for a while or even better, use asleep bag (like Grobag) for your baby. With a sleep bag, your baby will enjoy more or less the same temperature all the time, helping him to stay comfortable. If you use a water bottle or bean bag, make sure the bed doesn't become too warm and take it out before putting your baby in the crib.

# If nothing works, consider co-sleeping. Many babies sleep a lot better together with their mom during their first months of living. However, if you or your husband smoke, if the bed is very soft or if any of you have consumed alcohol, co-sleeping can be very dangerous for the baby. If you need tips for safe co-sleeping, let me know.

Also remember that babies many babies do wake up very easily during the first few months.

How many babies are aborted each day??

How many babies are aborted each day??

There are 4000 babies aborted each day in America (one every 20 seconds). [VERY SAD, but that's what I found on a site]. I don't know how ANYONE could abort a baby. Can't see why people can't put the baby up for adoption. They're the ones having sex and getting themselves pregnant. If they don't want a baby then don't have sex. Don't conceive a child and abort the poor baby. If you conceive a child and don't want the baby. Put the baby up for adoption! There are many many many family's out there that are not able to have kids and would love to adopt!
