You probably know this – not everybody’s the very best author, lyricist or poet. But don’t allow that to prevent you!Bad Poetry Day encourages you to definitely give it a try anyway by generating good content and writing some terrible verse. If you are feeling particularly cruel, you can read your bad poetry to buddies, family and co-workers hopefully they’ll enjoy good poetry more later on!

Did You Know Aug 18th is National Bad Poetry Day?

This has got to be the worst song in the history of rap and hip hop.

I DARE YOU to listen to the whole song. It's damn near impossible.

IS This a bad day for political conversation?

IS This a bad day for political conversation?

It is never a bad day for political conversation.

How should talking about something that is important for a change would be bad?

Like there is never a wrong day for religion conversation (include science here).

And there is no such day as one where you should forget poetry and nice phrasing when you try to express something usefull and vivifying.

But there is wrong emotion that one should not bring to such conversation, such as the pressure of previous failure, or not accepting when one is wrong. Broken hearth, poor education, reclusion and narcotics are also not a good thing to use before any good political Discution.

As you may use alcohol and still have a good political chat, I guess it is however fair to state that it will be less instructive and practical.

But with good open minded person in a good mood and not under the influences of any drugs (other than coffee and tobacco) it is always a good day for political conversation...

What would we talk about if we didn't use politics and philosophy?

Am I bad at writing poetry?

Am I bad at writing poetry?

You have developed a bad habit that most poets have these days. That habit is the complete and utter lack of punctuation (aside from the occasional use of dashes I guess). This is a problem because you don't have the necessary pauses and stops that would happen when reading the poem aloud. They are still sentences. You still need punctuation.

Other than that, your poetry is beautiful. I love it :]

Holidays also on this date Sunday, August 18, 2024...
