Where would we do without the standard battery? Take the time to think about the number of of the household products use batteries – from cars to controllers and hands-held products, Battery Day is about honoring and identifying precisely how important the straightforward battery would be to our life-style.

i have the new 9800, and sometimes I have the same issue.

The result is that the black berrys use a lot of battery power for certain applications.

For example, I i listen to a lot of music, and use the BBM (Black Berry Messenger) then my battery only lasts one day.

Your battery can also drain a good bit by talk time.

Try using it as little as possible for a day on a full charge and see how much battery it uses. it should be about 25% used (75% full) at the end of that day.

If after that "test" day, it still uses too much battery, then your battery pack is bad and will need to be replaced. Remember that it is suggested that you charge you battery full before using it for the first time and then let it run dead and then fully recharge it. This will allow the max amount of "juice" for your battery when charging.

Dead Battery in two days, please help?

Take your battery to an auto parts store, if possible. Most will check your battery for free. If the battery is good, you may have a short or small load. Check the current draw with a fully charged battery and everything turned off. You can do this by disconnecting one battery lead and lightly tapping it on the terminal. If you see or hear any sparking, then something is drawing your power. Does the Miata have a trunk? There could be a trunk light or an under-hood light that is staying on.

Mobile battery draining in one day?

I am not familiar with that brand of phone but from past experience I have learned that every phone has a memory in it. When you first get the phone you are suppose to give it a full charge an it should tell you when it is done charging. It does not make a difference if the phone is on or off it will still charge the same. You are suppose to let the battery wear all the way down till it is ready to power down an even if you let it power down till it shuts it self off that is good for it every so often. So when you charge it then it is getting a good full charge an it should last longer unless the phone is old an needs a new battery. If it is a new one then you should bring it back, there should be a warranty on it. If you keep putting the phone on charge all the time the memory of how long you charged it for will be short an the phone won't stay charged for as long as if you let the battery wear down to get a fuller charge.
