Do curmudgeons deserve to be loved too...?
Oh it definately pisses them off... But yes they should be loved. And here's the thing about loving a grumpy son of a b*itch. When you get in their heart and they love you back it is a solid "I am going to love you till the day I die no matter what love" because they do NOT like to meet and greet and try to find someone to love. They would just as soon be left alone. So when they do find it they are happy for life with it.
As the person being loved by the curmudgeon it is as a secure a love as you will ever know. Becasue you KNOW how grumpy and pessimistic they are. So you KNOW you MUST be awesome to be loved by them. If everything they ever see they always see the bad first. How great must you be for them to love everything about you? I mean here is this guy who is never happy with anything unless it is more then perfect right? And he loves you.You must be more then perfect.
Don't ask me how I know these things, I just know.

The people o' dear Ireland are a mostly happy crew
Though there be a drop of curmudgeon in someone's Irish stew
He'd be the one lacks humor like other Irish folk
'Is funny bone's a missin, else I'd give it a poke. Hah! lol
