when two people decide to get married is because they know each other .. and know each others feelings... the important thing here is what do u think? and do u love him? as far as friends and their comments.. u shouldnt allow it.. that will only harm ur relationship.. i think u and ur husband need to sit down and talk about all that is going on.. and ask him why he really married u.. i hope its not because of the papers... all couples have problems ..specially if u two dont know each other well and got married right away.. give it time try to work it out..and good luck

We're 11 days shy of getting married and have lived under the same roof for 5 months so I'll answer:

We love each other for one thing. We're quite compatible with one another and have similar goals, ideas, and wants in life.

Were you financially stable?

Define "stable". We are broke as hell and struggling to make ends meet but money isn't everything and we work things out together. I was more financially stable with my ex-husband but was treated like dirt.

How old were you?

29 (I'll be turning 30 only 18 days after the wedding). He is 43.

Did your husband/wife want to or did you nag about it?

He wanted to. Probably more so than me but I was the one who said to him "If you want me to move in with you this not going to be a case of "Why buy the milk when you can get it for free?" deals. Either you have a plan for marriage or you don't. Turns out he had every intention of marrying me and really wants to.

Do you enjoy being married?

Even though we're just "shacking up" so to speak, I can still say I do enjoy being married. Legally, we are not married. Spiritually we feel we are. As I mentioned earlier in my response, we will be legally married in 11 days and I am so thrilled to be with him.

HOW DO YOU DECIDE who to marry?

I spent the first 33 years of my life shagging as many women as possible.
