Hi. Firstly, it would be a good idea to get her a check up at the Doctors, to make sure she is not unwell at all.
Sometimes, they do go through phases and she is still young.
Just increase her milk at the moment and don't worry about the solids so much.
She'l let you know when she is hungry.
It's possible she is teething. so if you address that, she may want to eat more.
Teething granules are good or some teething gel and even a paracetamol syrup if she is in pain.
The worst thing you can do is make meal times a battle ground.
And if you are getting stressed about it, she will pick up on that straight away.
Try some finger foods, that you just leave on her highchair tray. And she might try them.
You could also, try a sippy cup.
Just don't try forcing her.
Be relaxed and play games and if her gums are not hurting, she may try something.
Also, give her a bowl and spoon to play with so she can put the spoon in her mouth herself, if she wants to.
11 month old eating schedule?
okay, i have to disagree with the feed when hungry at 11 months old, that is plenty old enough to be on a "normal" schedule. if we all ate anytime we wanted to instead of balanced meals when we are supposed to then we would all be overweight, it's also a good way to get your baby to start learning table manners and such, so you guys can all eat together as a family, and what about day care? if he needs to go to a daycare or preschool, they will not accommodate him to eating whenever he wanted to, he would have to wait to eat with all the other kids.
around this time, your baby should be eating a square three meals a day with a snack in between breakfast and lunch and a snack between lunch and dinner. when he turns one, thats a good time to switch to whole milk unless you continue with breast milk- then even doctors will tell you too much milk can be a bad thing- milk with breakfast lunch and dinner is best and water and juice in between.
