I think what we refer to as extraterrestrial visitors are really from another dimension. my brother and I both had some missing time and it did not start with us being asleep or even in our beds we were fully awake in our living room. I don't know what happened and would love hypnotic regression but my brother does not want to find out. Since I have heard the hypnotists can affect the memories of the person I want to different people to hypnotize us and then we can compare notes. I will keep working on my brother and hopefully one day he will agree to do it.

Do you believe in extraterrestrial life? Why? Why Not?

I think that extraterrestrial life is likely to exist, but I wouldn't say I have a belief, not without evidence.

So many squillions of stars, it would be very surprising if this planet was the only place that life developed.

You should get hold of a book called "Is there anyone out there", by Frank Drake and Dava Sobel.

Drake is the world's foremost expert on the search for extraterrestrial life, and the possibility of its existence.

It's a great read, and will clarify a lot of questions about what we know, what we can do and what we cannot do.

For example, we may one day be able to contact extraterrestrial life using radio transmissions (and we have been attempting this for several decades, no luck so far). However, actually travelling to another planet around a faraway star is a completely different proposition. The massive amounts of energy required, and the amount of time required, makes the task nearly impossible and outrageously expensive, both for us or for any would-be alien visitors.

So while it may be possible to contact intelligent life in space, it is virtually impossible that we could ever meet face to face, or face to tentacle or whatever.
