2. Socialized Rationed Health Care

People don't realize that the government is going more and more into our personal lives! Why in the hell is someone forcing me to go to a specific doctor? It is my health, my body, my problem, and MY job to take care of it. Not the governments, not people that make twice as much as I do, but ME.

It is real simple. Dont let the liberals muddy the water, confuse the issue and pull the wool over your (or other American's eyes). Health care is NOT A RIGHT. It is EARNED! You want it, then stay in school, go to work, and bust your rear like the rest of us. Health care is no more a right than "..we all should have the right to a new car.." or "...we all should have the right to a 60" plasma TV..." Since when did we become a nation of people that believe everything should be GIVEN to them? Our forefathers are rolling over in their graves! Government run health care?!! Are you kidding me? Where have you been? Look how the government runs the veteran's administration's healthcare program and you want them to run the healthcare of another 300 million people?? Tried to renew your driver's licence lately...liked the long line?...liked the rude lady on the other side of the glass?...ever applied for a student loan?...liked the 8 month waiting list? You gotta be crapping me? And now you want them to run your healthcare system? Folks, please listen...this is the age old battle between those that have and those that have not. Plain and simple. It is not fair that I ride my bike to work while my neighbor drives a Porche, therefore, we should sell his Porche and buy us both a used Chrysler. Does this make sense to you because that is what we are doing here. We are taking from those who decided early in life to get a clue, get an education, and get a freakin job...and we are giving it to those that decide to sit on their asses daily while the rest of us work 15 hrs a day. Last time I checked websters, it told me that this was STEALING.

How can Illinois enforce Use Tax after amnesty expires?

As a general rule states have limited ability to enforce use tax collections except on vehicles, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco. That said, if the state has reasonable cause that you are evading use taxes, they can try to subpoena bank and credit card records to locate out-of-state purchases. You'll be given your day in court to show cause as to why the subpoena should be quashed and the state will have their shot at convincing the judge that a crime has been committed and that they should have access to the records. If they have evidence to back up their position they may win. If the judge thinks that it's a fishing expedition, he may well quash the subpoena.

If you are an IL business, however, the state already as full access to your records at any sales and use tax audit if you are either required to collect an render sales taxes or have a reseller's number to make tax-free purchases for resale. Normally those go hand-in-hand. If the auditor sees any commingling of funds between the business and your personal finances, they can extend the scope of the audit to include all of your personal financial records.
