If you could create your own holiday..... what would it be?

National Forgiveness Day. One day when we treat each other with a little more tolerance and acceptance. Sort of like a day of amnesty for past wrongs and hurt feelings. Hey, the library does it every now and then and see all the overdue books it brings in. Hallmark could go crazy with the idea. "Roses are red, Violets are blue, We all make mistakes, And I still like you." The Hatfields and McCoys would come into town in their old beat up pick-ups and buy each other a beer. Vikings and Packers fans would wear each others colors. Jews and Muslims would realize they can sit down together and order off the same menu. The possibilities are endless. At least for a day, the past could be forgotten and a new day of forgiveness could dawn with all the pomp and falderal worthy of an excuse to hug each other and get a little tipsy.
