Other ethnic groups mouths?

I think you meant to say 'month'...you vented your frustration about other's opinions..and believe me when it comes to race and this month dedicated to black history and information, it seems to bring out the most racist of opinions from people...and remember most racists have lower IQs and tend to focus on things that are not going to make their lives any better...I just stop people who want to discuss this and you can see they don''t really want to discuss this but get a raging argument going...let them know you don't have time you are getting ready for a Black History Event...and remind them that we share this month with:

National Scholastic Leadership Conference?

Hello :) I asked almost the same question last year when I was invited. My best friend and I decided to go, and we actually went to the buisness one at Fordham! It was the best 10 days of my life! It felt like home, and I was paired up with the best roomate EVER! I still talk to about half the people I met, and its 8 months later! It was such a neat experience.

Okay, so as far as it helping you get into a college, here is the low down. Going to the NSLC will NOT GET you into college, but it may help. However, it all depends on the school you apply to and such. Basically if it comes down to you and another person, you have the same GPA, take the same classes, ect. and you have gone to the NSLC and they haven't, then yes, they will probobly choose you over the other person, however, attending the NSLC does not weight THAT much, so if its between you and someone whose has a way higher GPA, takes harder classes, ect. and the only thing you have over them, is that you attended the NSLC, then no, it will probobly not matter THAT much.

I attented mostly for the experience, to see what it was like to live in dorms, to see if buisness is what I really wanted to study (which after attending, I decided I do not, and it saved me a LOT of money, or I might have gone to college, payed a TON of money THEN realize, "hey...this isn't what I thought it would be" then have all that money go to waste). I also went just for the adventure, being across country, away from your parents, in an amazing city (NYC baby! :), ect.

So, heres the deal, I LOVED it, highly recommend it, and yeh you should go, cause its pretty much awesome :)
