I don't mean to be a party poop about this, I'm a senior myself at 60, but I think we have entirely too damn many "special days". I bet my own mom spent a small fortune in her lifetime on cards. It had to be her that got this whole thing started! :O))
Father's Day, Kids Day, Secretary's Day, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, St. Patrick's Day, Friendship Day, Earth day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Valentine's Day, Groundhog Day, Boss' Day, Columbus Day, Flag Day, Grandparents Day, President's Day!!!!!! ...........................
