I pledged and during my new member period, I was basically given presents. An older member was a temporary big sis to me every week and would take me out to eat, or do something nice for me. Same with I-week. It stood for "Inspiration week" instead of "initiation week" and it was just fun stuff all week long. Such as finding out who your big sister in the chapter was and going ice skating with the chapter.
If you want to get drunk, you can. I don't know anyone who's been forced to get drunk. I went through school without drinking hardly at all, and still had a blast at all of our parties. Most of that stuff stays in the realm of fraternities.
If you like the women in the sorority that offered you a bid. Accept. Pledge. If you don't like what they do, quit. There is nothing to keep you there if you're uncomfortable. Being in a sorority can be an awesome part of college.

EDIT: its like 3 or 4 dollars.. if u get a pirated one.. cmon ur not that poor? atleast where i live its 3 or 4 dollars .. try youtube or try googling it untill u get some video results ..
