HELP!! WHY AM I SO SLOW AT TESTS??

I hear you because I was ALWAYS so SLOW at tests. It didn't matter what subject it was, really. I hated tests because they were boring, they counted for so much of my grade, and I was so slow. Time limits on tests also made me nervous. Sometimes I would go through the whole test, pick the answers I knew without thinking too hard, fill them in, and go back to the harder ones. So if it takes you more than a minute to answer one question and you have no idea, keep going, and make sure to come back to that one. Sometimes that can help pick up your speed and efficiency slightly. Also, if you have time, double check your answers.

However, speed isn't everything, I remember taking finals in high school and I would be sitting there, taking my time trying to finish. Yes, I was slow, but I made sure I had the right answer. I remember this obnoxious girl in front of me turning around looking at my test to tell all her friends around her what number I was on. I mean, everyone was finished and I was the only one with the test out. After the tests were all in, everybody could talk, but since I usually took up the whole hour, people didn't care for me much. However, once they get their papers back and see they only got like a C, D, or F and you got an A, it's all worth it! I know that other students will give you a glare just because they want to talk to their friends or think you're too slow. Don't worry about what they think because since they rushed through it in no time at all and didn't even double check their answers then they aren't going to get a perfect grade unless they studied incredibly hard.

I remember when I got to college, I didn't feel any pressure because most of the time, when you are finished with your test, you can hand it in and leave the classroom so there's no one there to make fun of you for taking too long. In college, most people are trying their hardest so chances are, there will be others that are slower test takers as well because they are trying their absolute best.

Don't worry about speed, just worry about finishing. Don't worry what other people think and don't get frustrated with yourself. Some people just take more time than others and I know how ya feel because I'm one of them. Even though I take a long time with tests, I try my absolute best. Don't stress too much about how long you take and just becaues everyone else finishes before you doesn't mean their smarter. In fact, sometimes it means they are careless because they knew they were going to fail anyway and wanted to get it done and over with.

Never Slow Danced i need help!?

Never Slow Danced i need help!?

Slow dancing is an extremely difficult art in which it will take you many years to master and fully understand.....HAHA just kidding.Hmm, slow dancing... Well honestly I just slow danced for the first time

and I was freaking out about it for days beforehand.

-I assume you know the basics: boys put hands on waist and girls on shoulders.

-Slow dancing can vary from just swaying back and forth to any style you like.

-You don't even have to listen to the music at all, once you start dancing, you won't worry anymore, trust me.

-And if you are on the verge of a nervous breakdown over the whole slow dancing, then tell the girl that you're just a little nervous cuz you like her. She won't mind and she'll probably even think its cute for you to be intimidated by her.

good luck!!!

should martial arts be practiced on the same day we lift heavy weights?

should martial arts be practiced on the same day we lift heavy weights?

Look i will let you know a secret. Practice your martial art forms slow and relaxed in the morning. It helps wake up the body get you moving. It is also a good warm up if you don't have time to do any of your stretches and calisthenics before you lift weights.

Reason being it moves the blood and stretches the muscles and warms up the joints. Work out with weights when ever your regimen allows. Than go to your martial art class. Than you can do a quick set of forms and stretches at night abt 1 hour before bedtime. You can go either way with the weights before or after martial art class. if your class schedule is every other day than weight lift on the off days. Depends on when your martial arts class is if it early in the evening than lift weights after. If it is later in the evening lift before class. It might be better to lift after class since you should be warmed up already.

Also the best weight lifting regimen would be a whole body workout not doing groups or body parts.

It sounds a little confusing cut it is effective. And if you really want a body workout ditch the weight for 3 months and do a full bodyweight workout. Same principle applies than after 3 months go lift some weights.

A good bodyweight book is Convict Conditioning here is a link

you might find a pdf file online for free if you do some looking. Follow the example program and exercises to a 't' and you'll see results that is impressive.
