Spinache is a leafy green vegetable so it will provide you with lots of iron. Cottage cheese is low fat and a good source of calcium and protein. Fruit will provide you with lots of vitamins. Everything in this meal is healthy but you are missing a vital element which is a complex carbohydrate. You need carbohydrates for energy and something like wholewheat bread/ pasta/ cous cous or rice would be great with this.
Despite this being very healthy, i wouldn't recommend having it for EVERY meal as your body needs a varied diet with different things. I would say maybe have this every two, three days or so but try and switch it up most days. Like what about one day you have chicken, wholewheat pasta and some pesto, then the next day have some wholewheat cous cous, smoked salmon and cream cheese sauce. If there is no way you can have these in your cafeteria why not bring a packed lunch from home. That way you know you will be receiving a very healthy balanced diet and your body will benefit from it!
Is eating spinach every day good for you?
Its great, spinach is extremely low in calories and high in fiber. It isn't the best for nutrients, but I am assuming you have other foods in your diet. Spinach is great for getting in some fiber...
If I eat Spinach All day long, Everyday , prepare it differently each time, for a week, WHAT WOULD HAPPEN ?
Spinach contains a fair amount of oxalic acid which can form metal oxalates. Metal oxalates can irritate the gut and because oxalic acid binds with things like iron and calcium, long term consumption of food high in this may cause metal deficiencies.
A week of spinach probably wouldn't amount to anything serious, but it's definitely not the healthiest thing to do!
