Straw Hat Day

Hay Hat Day marks the purpose whenever your day-to-day felt hats ought to be set aside (before the Felt Hat Day on September 15th), and when you begin begin to put on a hay hat rather to help keep awesome (both in senses from the word!) modern studies have tended to exhibit, however, that hay hats aren’t nescessarily any cooler or better defense against the sun's rays than other hat types.

how can i strech my straw cowboy hat (a b-day gift) it’s alittle to small?

here is the way i do it.

step 1. flip the hat upside down

step 2. put your hands on the inside of the hat on opposite sides.

step 3. PULL ! ! ! ! !

what is your favourite type of hat and why?

I like plain hats. Something casual i can throw on for when im having a bad day.

Straw hat Luffy costume?

Straw hat Luffy costume?

Luffy is REALLY easy to dress as and it doesn't have to cost much at all. I will list everything where you can buy them.

The straw hat- You can buy a simple plain straw hat at almost all stores. Walmart, Hobby Lobby, Joann's Fabrics, Target, and K-Mart should all have them. Then just hot glue some red ribbon [available at the stores listed above also]. This looks more realistic than cosplay online stores also.

The shirt- Luffy doesn't have a 'official' shirt since he changes it a lot, but his red button up shirt is the way most fans know him. Red button shirts with no sleeves is pretty hard to find, but they are out there. So just keep looking. I have noticed that Goodwill typically has shirts like that...since they are sort of out of style. Since it is Spring time, Luffy shirts will be easier to find now compared to all the other seasons. Also, button up shirts are everywhere: Dillards, Hollister, Abercrombie, Kohls, Target, etc. but they have sleeves. If you don't like the idea of used shirts, you can buy a shirt with sleeves and use a seam ripper to take off the sleeves carefully. Don't just cut off the sleeves, it makes the edge look sloppy plus it ruins the shirts completely.

The shorts- Simple. Just use jeans you already have and roll them up. Luffy's shorts have the rolled up look so regular shorts won't look the same. If you fell like rolling up your jeans looks too bulky, you can cut them. Cut along the calf [or a bit lower] and roll up. To secure them, you can use hot glue or [so it doesn't permently ruin them] you can use safety pins.

The shoes- I saw shoes exactly like that at Dollar Tree the other day, so I would check that out. Also Hollister should have them. But if you don't like the feel or look of those style of shoes, any flip flop works just as fine.

Scar- Eyeliner or a washable Crayola thin tip marker works great.

Hope I helped. (:
