There's something unnvering concerning standing silently in a packed escalator (or a lift)... It's a brave person which cracks the uncomfortable silence-- so Talk In An Elevator Day is dedicated to plucking up our courage and making courteous tiny take whilst riding the lift!

I talk to strangers all the time. You never know who might be having a bad day that could be made a little better by a smile and a few nice words. I especially like to smile and chat with older people, so many of them are lonely.

How to make small talk in the elevator?

Start humming elevator music to make her laugh.

Ask if she's seen "Devil" yet.

Start softly saying "please get stuck, please get stuck" over and over again to cue her in on the fact you'd love to get stuck in an elevator with her.
