A lot of our claims nowadays finish with ‘the world as you may know it’. World Human Spirit Day is really a celebration to the fact that what we should learn about our very own world is restricted and superficial. It's a day to question at our accomplishments in the world as humans, and also to contemplate the endless options we've as spirits. Each day to look within for contentedness and also to embrace the truth that we don't have the solutions which might be to find the best. Each day to provide a greater energy thank you for what we should have and just what we do not have, to make us who we're as well as for giving us the opportunity to touch others. This very day is really a celebration of continuity, of hope, of awareness, an event for all of us all for connecting emotionally, to gaze in the world beyond our worldly physiques.

The phrase “god of this world” (or “god of this age” [NKJV]) indicates that Satan is the major influence on the mind-set expressed by the ideals, opinions, goals, hopes and views of the majority of people. His areas of influence also encompass the world’s philosophies, education, and commerce. The thoughts, ideas, speculations and false religions of the world are under his control and have sprung from his lies and deceptions.

Similar titles are found elsewhere in Scripture concerning Satan. Satan is called the "prince of the power of the air" in Ephesians 2:2. He is called the "ruler of this world" in John 12:31. These titles, and many more attributed to Satan throughout Scripture, signify his capabilities. To say, for example, that Satan is the "prince of the power of the air" is to signify that in some way he rules over the world and the people in it.

This is not to say that he rules the world completely; only God does this. But it does mean that God, in His infinite wisdom, has allowed Satan to operate in this world (within the boundaries God has set for him) and has allowed Satan to operate with an agenda. When the Bible says Satan has power over the world, it must be made clear that God has given him domain over unbelievers alone. Believers are no longer under the rule of Satan (Colossians 1:13). Unbelievers, on the other hand, are caught "in the snare of the devil" (2 Timothy 2:26), lie in the "power of the evil one" (1 John 5:19), and are in bondage to Satan (Ephesians 2:2).

So, when the Bible says that Satan is the "god of this world," it is not saying that he has ultimate authority. It is conveying the idea that Satan rules over the unbelieving world in a specific way. In the case of 2 Corinthians 4:4, the unbeliever follows Satan's agenda. According to 2 Corinthians 4:4, the "god of this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ." Satan's agenda includes pushing a false philosophy onto the unbelieving world—a false philosophy that blinds the unbeliever from the truth of the Gospel. Satan’s philosophies are the fortresses in which people are imprisoned, needing to be set free and brought captive to Christ in obedience to the truth.

An example of a false philosophy might be a belief that man can earn God's favor by a certain act or acts. In fact, earning eternal life is a predominate theme around the world. Earning God's favor by works, however, is contrary to biblical revelation. Man cannot work to earn God's favor; eternal life is a free gift (see Ephesians 2:8-9). And that free gift is available through Jesus Christ and Him alone (John 3:16; 14:6). You may ask why does mankind simply not receive the free gift that enables them to truly be called children of God (John 1:12)? The answer is that Satan—the god of this world—pushes a false philosophy onto the world. Satan sets the agenda, the unbelieving world follows, and mankind continues to be deceived. It is no wonder that Scripture calls Satan a liar (John 8:44).

Is it weird that Christian-"slay in spirit" horror shows disturb me?

THE HOLY SPIRIT OR THE HUMAN SPIRIT

Most cannot distinguish the difference.

*Proverbs 20:27 "THE SPIRIT OF MAN is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly."

*Zechariah 4:6 "Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by MY SPIRIT, saith the LORD of hosts."

The Bible speaks of the SPIRIT OF MAN and THE SPIRIT OF GOD. We are to be LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT AND NOT OUR HUMAN SPIRIT.

*I John 4:1 "Beloved, BELIEVE NOT EVERY SPIRIT, BUT TRY THE SPIRITS to see if they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world."

*John 7:24 "Judge not according to the appearance, but JUDGE RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT."

*Matthew 4:4 "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not LIVE by bread alone, but BY EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDETH OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD."

We must load our computer minds with the Word of God to give us an accurate guidance system. Being led by the Spirit should be linked to reading the Word of God; a good prayer life; experience and mature godly teaching. Every leading one gets should be bounced off the full counsel of God from the Bible and not just on some "premonition". Although we are not to walk in a "spirit of fear", we are to walk with caution and wisdom by LISTENING TO THE WARNINGS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT as well as paying attention to our senses. One of the Holy Spirit's main jobs is to protect us from falling into traps.

*1 Corinthians 14:10 "There are, it may be, SO MANY KINDS OF VOICES IN THE WORLD, and none of them is without signification."

There is the VOICE OF OUR HUMAN SPIRIT; THE VOICE OF OUR FLESH; THE VOICE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT; AND THE VOICE OF DEMON SPIRITS. (i.e.: Jesus' Temptation by Satan).

ERRORS TAUGHT REGARDING BEING LED BY THE SPIRIT

One notable teacher said that we should "INSTANTLY OBEY THE VOICE OF OUR SPIRIT". He says that the HUMAN SPIRIT has a voice which we call a 'conscience'. Sometimes this is known as 'intuition,' 'an inner voice', or 'guidance'. Non-Christians call it a 'hunch'. He says that every man's spirit, whether he is saved or not, has a voice. He says that your spirit needs to become strong and you must "learn TO OBEY YOUR SPIRIT".

IS THERE ANYTHING WRONG WITH THIS TEACHING?

This teaching is not Biblical. This is confusing the human spirit with the Holy Spirit. This is not teaching us to follow the VOICE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, but THE VOICE OF THE HUMAN SPIRIT. Jesus said, "My sheep know MY voice. Developing a STRONG HUMAN SPIRIT and following THE VOICE OF YOUR SPIRIT is EXACTLY WHAT THE NEW AGERS TEACH. This is HUMANISM.

TO INSTANTLY OBEY THE VOICE OF YOUR SPIRIT is the same thing as FOLLOWING YOUR HEART.

*Mark 7:21 "Out of the heart proceed evil thoughts."

*Jeremiah 17:9 "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked who can know it." So this teaching is contradicting everything the Bible teaches regarding following one's heart. One's flesh, and emotions can deceive you in a heartbeat. It's easy to confuse the Holy Spirit speaking from the voice of your flesh. The results can be devastating because the flesh and the Spirit are at enmity with each other.

*John 14:26 "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and BRING ALL THINGS TO YOUR REMEMBRANCE, whatsoever I have said unto you."

Your REMEMBRANCE OR MEMORY OPERATES IN YOUR MIND, not in your feelings and emotions.

THE DESIRES OF YOUR HEART

*Psalms 37:4 "Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall GIVE THEE THE DESIRES OF THINE HEART."

Some teachers have given the spin on this scripture that it is GOD WHO GIVES US OUR DESIRES. Whereas this can be true in some instances, IT IS BY NO MEANS ALWAYS TRUE. If we delight in the Lord He will bless us abundantly in this life, but MANY DESIRES, even of Christians, COME FROM OUR FLESH. Many of these are evil, carnal or self serving, and are not from God.

Can humans interact with the Spirit World?

Yes is the answer the whole reason why spiritual masters, priests, and gurus etc are here is to guide us back to our original home which is the spiritual creation of the Lords energy. These teachers are here to help us realise our constitutional position in this material world.

My understanding is that we are not this flesh and bones we are spirit soul part and parcel of the Supreme Lord. The Spirit Soul resides in every ones heart. It is one ten thousandth the size of a tip of a human hair. It is not made up of the five material elements namely earth, water, fire, air and ether. This material energy is GODS creation, which is created by spiritual energy (scientists now recognise this as anti matter that is not under the same laws of material energy it is unborn, never dies, it cannot be affected by water, fire or be cut). Anti matter is what gives life to matter once it leaves a dead body it moves on to another body, which the material energy is in a constant cycle of birth, death, old age and decease.

The whole reason why we are here is that we have chosen to have our own separate enjoyment away from the Lord so he in his infinite love to please his sons and daughters has created this material world for us to enjoy. The entire material creation is only 1/4 of the entire creation of the Lord and the spiritual sky accounts for the other 3/4. He has given us the facility to enjoy according to our desires but there is the proviso that although we have limited free will we will enjoy or suffer according to our pious or impious actions leaving a trail of karma from one life to the next.

Some of us will eventually come to realise that our existence away from God is a painful existence. There is no living entity that is free from Karma. Ones influential position does not exclude one from suffering.

Just as the Lord is the supreme enjoyer, in the spiritual world, everyone there lives only for serving God he is the centre of everyone’s attention and is always meditated on. Our teachers are trying to tell us that our lives here is meant for purifying our existence on this planet because without purification we will not be able to return back home back to Godhead. Our constitutional position is to surrender everything we do in the service of the Lord and to forgo all these sense pleasures, which in the end leads only to suffering. Once we come to this position our lives becomes SUBLIME.

Therefore, to conclude our only interaction with the spiritual world is through our Religious and Spiritual teachers who is the medium to the Spiritual world. These teachers were sent here to remind us that this is not our real home and that God consciousness is the ultimate way of life.

A creator would not give you something created without the knowledge with which to use it.

For those that say there is no proof of God it is said by a great modern day yogi that the common man knows that the creation is made by some creator and is not created automatically. We have no experience in the practical world that a thing is created automatically.

A great sage once wrote, above all we need to remember: absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.
