Rodney, Cryptococcal meningitis is a fungal infection of the tissues covering the brain and spinal cord (meninges). It is caused by the fungus Cryptococcus neoformans. This fungus is found in soil around the world.

Cryptococcal meningitis most often affects people with a weakened immune system. Risk factors include:AIDS, Cirrhosis (a type of liver disease), Diabetes, Leukemia, Lymphoma, Sarcoidosis and receiving an organ transplant

It is rare in people who have a normal immune system and no long-term health problems.

Unlike bacterial meningitis, this form of meningitis comes on more slowly, over a few days to a few weeks. Symptoms may include: Fever, Hallucinations, Headache, Mental status change, Nausea and vomiting, Sensitivity to light (photophobia), and a Stiff neck.

Do I have meningitis?

Very unlikely. Meningtis tends to be acute and causes a high fever. Also, more than headaches, you'd feel pain when moving your neck and back. Also, unless you're unlucky enough to get the worst doctors in the world, you'd have been hospitalized. Meningitis (or suspected meningitis) is an instant free pass to a hospital bed until the diagnosis can be ruled out or certified for treatment.

Meningitis vaccine side effects.Help?

Many vaccines cause a person to get the disease, but other so called "side effects" are not rare and a lot of damage to the human body comes from vaccines, both short term and long term. Realize that a lot of money is being spent to convince you that vaccines are safe. In fact, so called "scientific studies" have been done that show Autism is not caused by vaccines. Really? We know that drug companies are terribly corrupt and lie, as well as fund studies to promote their agenda. No one has been able to explain or organize a study as to why Dr. Einenstein's clinic in Chicago has over 30,000 Amish children that have NO autism in that group. They do NOT vaccinate. Yet, other Amish children that do vaccinate get Autism. Just that one fact is being ignored completely by medical people and drug companies. Why? What are they afraid of and why won't they do that study? Let's look where Autism is NOT and compare what they are doing to groups that are getting Autism. Doesn't that seem like a reasonable study to you?

I personally know a man that had crippling polio that he got from getting the shot. Two days after getting the shot, he came down with polio that crippled him. He was perfectly normal prior to that.

Jonas Salk, the inventor of the polio vaccine admitted that more people got polio from getting the vaccine than from the disease. The former head of the CDC, Dr. Julia Gerberding, has just accepted a job as the president of Merck's lucrative vaccine division (the same job Maurice Hilleman had). So the very person who has been telling us for years that Merck's HPV vaccines are perfectly safe is now promoting them commercially and getting paid big bucks to do it.

The pharmaceutical industry has a giant "revolving door" through which corporations and government agencies frequently exchange key employees. That reality was driven home in a huge way when news broke that Dr. Julie Gerberding, who headed the CDC from 2002 through 2009, landed a top job with Merck, one of the largest drug companies in the world. Her job there? She's the new president of the vaccine division.

How convenient. That means the former head of the CDC was very likely cultivating a relationship with Merck all these years, and now comes the big payoff: Heading up a $5 billion division that sells cervical cancer vaccines (like Gardasil), chickenpox vaccines and of course H1N1 swine flu vaccines, too.

Merck was found guilty of lying to the FDA about it's drug safety for VIOXX. 160,000 people died from taking that drug and Merck was fined and that was the end of the story. No one was prosecuted even when the documents clearly showed that Merck knew over 30% of the people that would take that drug would get serious side effects, including death.

These are NOT nice people that we can simply trust to look out for us and vaccine technology is very bad science coupled to very high powered marketing and political ties that are promoting it for BIG profits with NO regard for our health. DO YOUR HOMEWORK.
