Auxiliary Territorial Service (ATS). Like soldiers, they wore a khaki uniform. they acted as drivers, worked in mess halls where many had to peel potatoes, acted a cleaners and they worked on anti-aircraft guns. fuse the shells and be there when the firing cord was pulled……By July 1942, the ATS had 217,000 women in it. As the war dragged on, women in the ATS were allowed to do more exciting jobs such as become welders (unheard of in ‘civvie’ street), carpenters, electricians etc.

Skilled women could earn £2.15 a week about $9 dollars US

Basically to keep it simple you choose either a red or green day.

Then have as much 'free' foods as you like within reason.

Red: Meat, poultry and fish (skin and fat removed).

Green:Rice,pasta and potatoes.

Most fruit and veg is also free on both days.(Potatoes, peas and sweetcorn only free on a green day).

As well as the free foods you also have healthy extras to make sure your diet has fibre, calcium etc.

There are healthy extras A.dairy product's. B.fibre or meat.

So on a green day as well as whatever free foods like potatoes and rice, you would have either one or two A choices eg.28g cheese and also two b choices eg.113g chicken or 85g beef.

Basically you eat tons of rice and pasta with a measured amount of meat on a green day.

On a red day as much meat as you like with a measured amount of potatoes or brown bread.

It's tricky to explain, you would be best to join a class to at least get the hang of it for a few weeks then decide whether or not to keep it up.

Without at least a Slimming World book you won't get anywhere.

Super foods are just free foods that will help you along a bit.

Good luck!
