Blasphemy Day 2025 is on Tuesday, September 30, 2025: Why can't we celebrate Blasphemy Day every day?
Tuesday, September 30, 2025 is Blasphemy Day 2025. Blasphemy Rights Day International encourages individuals and groups to openly express their criticism of, or even disdain for, religion.

Blasphemy has no relevance today. It did, for Moses and the Israelites.
What is blasphemy EXACTLY?
Blasphemy has nothing to do with believing or not believing in your particular god. It is solely concerned with how you talk about a god or gods, it is the act or offense of speaking sacrilegiously about God or sacred things; profane talk.. For example, you commit blasphemy against Zeus and the Greek gods when you call them myths.
In light of the Christian religion, you need to understand that blasphemy against God or Jesus is not unforgivable and that some interpretations consider blasphemy against the "Holy Spirit" to be the only "unforgivable sin", while many other parts of Christianity will point out that committing suicide leaves no chance for repentance and thus can not be forgiven.
You should make an attempt to understand the difference between saying "I see no reason to suspect that a god of any type might exist" (atheism), blasphemy, swearing, cursing and foul language. Each of these are distinctly different and in most cases, it is not the words that you use that matters, it is what you mean and the feelings you are expressing.
Edit:
To be clear, you are incorrect. Please try to understand the definition of the terms that you use, as well as how they are used across the 30,000 variants of your religion and who knows how many others. Being an atheist is not blasphemy, saying that God is a homophobic, mass murder is, but it is also true. Atheists lack belief in all and any gods, this is not blasphemy, but many of us that know your Bible better than you do consider your god to be an unjust, spoiled child. You can call this blasphemy, but I'd call it a realistic assessment of the facts.
Does anyone know anything about International Blasphemy Day?
I'm intrigued... let me look.
Great question, thanks!
