Caesarean section!?

I had to have one because I couldn't go into full labor due to a heart problem I have.

No, it did not hurt...they gave me a spinal block. From my chest down I couldn't feel anything. The only thing I felt was pressure, like someone was pushing down on my stomach. After they stitched me back up they gave me morphine, and then demerol. It hurt afterwards...but you aren't going to be able to have a baby anyway painlessly. The parts that hurt the most was trying to walk for the first time, and trying to poop for the first time. They say healing time is 6-8 weeks, but I honestly felt fine after about 5 days. My incision scar is almost non-existant 13 months later. I loved my c-section, overall. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

I'm not sure why they would tell you that you have to have one if you're under a certain height...it may be because your frame is too small to safely deliver a baby vaginally.

If you have anymore questions regarding c-sections, feel free to message me.

which is better- Caesarean section or natural way?

i think vaginal. I had vaginal. my sister had C-section and she couldn't even laugh or walk or move too much because of the stitches or staples, whichever it was.... most people who delivered naturally are fine the next day, as was i, standing, walking, just regular.

I had a caesarean section 10 days ago recovered very quick but midwife says i need to go for a scan?

I had 2 c sections. It takes for ever to recover. Your uterus takes weeks to contract. Everyone's body is different. But I agree with the other answer....you should see a doctor. If anything was left inside you would feel pain and you would be sick because your body would be rejecting it. I would get a second opinion, but a pap smear isn't what needs to be done. The doctor might send you for an ultrasound but then again it might be too soon to have that done. Good luck! and congratulations on the new arrival!

Holidays also on this date Tuesday, January 14, 2025...
