3 (15 oz) cans tomato sauce
4 (15 oz) cans kidney beans - drained
1 package Chili Seasoning Mix
1 lb ground beef
Cook the beef, breaking it up as you cook it, until no longer pink. Drain and pour the meat into a pot. Add the rest of the ingredients, bring to a boil, turn the heat down to a simmer and cook for 30-45 minutes. DONE!! It's even better the next day.
My mother would also serve it over rice - that adds another dimension to it and makes a complete protein. I like to add mushrooms to mine.
