Well, I'm a child of the 80s, and the smell of crayons reminds me of my preschool days. I love the smell of crayons and am glad to see there are others out there who do too!

For National History Day I’m doing an exhibit on Crayola Crayons, what should I include?

A bright drawing made with Crayola Crayons, of course. With the Crayola Crayons that were used glued next to it's color on the drawing, and a legend with the color name of the Crayola Crayon.

Be sure to include why Crayola Crayons were innovative, they were non-toxic, and OK for small children to use - previous Crayons were for artists and had contained toxic materials.

The crayons are not an issue. He'll just have rainbow poop in the next few days (as a dogwalker, believe me, I've had to call Crayola and vets on this before! )

If he didn't INGEST the wires, just chewed them, he's OK. If he ingested any, the little sharp pieces could pierce his intestines somewhere along the line. He's most likely OK.

But you are going to have to puppy proof the house. He can't be left loose and unattended in any area in which there are wires, for starters. Unplug anything and everything you aren't using, to lessen shock risks to your pup. Crate him when you can't watch him like white on rice and train him when you are watching him closely.
