The utility can transfer data from Enterprise files to Pro/Premier files. The utility allows you to do non-networked data entry in multiple QuickBooks files at the same time and then merge the data together in one file. For example, an accountant can be paying bills on the office computer while a salesman or service technician in the field or at a remote office is issuing invoices or estimates to customers, while a stay at home worker is entering bills at home. All of the remote data can then be merged into the office computer without erasing any data.

CPA's and accountants can use the utility to send journal entries and other changes to their clients. Clients can send a backup of their QuickBooks file to their accountant and continue to work in their copy while the accountant is reviewing and adjusting his copy of their file. The accountant's changes can then be merged into the clients files without erasing any data. The utility does not not require that accountant's and their clients be on the same release level.

If you have an office network and need more data entry than the QuickBooks 5 user maximum allows, you can enter data on non-networked QuickBooks files and at the end of the day use the utility to merge the data from the non-networked files into the networked file.

The utility can be used to improve security and privacy. You can have temporary employees enter data in a copy of your QuickBooks file that doesn't contain any payroll or other sensitive information and transfer their input to your file at your convenience.

You can transfer data between two files located on your desktop computer or between a laptop computer and a desktop computer connected to a network. You can also transfer the information by email or by floppy disk.

Question about storing data on the Cloud?

If you upload your data to the cloud via a website uploader then they can only access the data you send to them through that.

If you use their own program like Google Drive then there is a possibility that they could access data on your computer, although this would likely be frowned upon and possibly be breach of privacy laws.

Even if they were to access the data - what do you think they could do with it? It's useless data - Google went and collected loads of wi-fi names when doing the street camera's but ended up destroying the data - one was because people were concerned about privacy, but the other thing was Google had no way to sort through all that data.

Say there is 1 billion files in cloud storage now - unless they have an absolute specific need to access your data what is the chance that they're going to single your data out of the other 1bn files going through every day.

If your a celebrity, or a politician or something then maybe that may be a bit different, but with the general public for them to get some kind of useful information it would be like looking for a needle in a haystack.

The funny thing is I was playing a detective computer game last night, and the detective has a list of 300 people who subscribe to a magazine and his sidekick says well let's interrogate all these people and he says about the amount of time it would take to interrogate all 300 people on that list it would take too long and wouldn't be worth it at all. The data in the cloud were talking a lot more than 300 people!

yeah sure they have a database for all users who signed in yahoo,there are several security ways to encrypt your data such if you want to have total security on your mail you can install a software for a protocol called "PGP" that you and the one who you sending the email for should have,if you want your chat record you can retrieve it from your messenger archive,contacts->message archive.but this is for the private rooms not general rooms.
