Dimpled Chad Day 2025 is on Saturday, January 4, 2025: If you had to vote for an American president RIGHT NOW, who would you vote for and why?

Saturday, January 4, 2025 is Dimpled Chad Day 2025. Happy Dimpled Chad Day Happy Dimpled Chad Day

If you had to vote for an American president RIGHT NOW, who would you vote for and why?

Mr. Nobody...someone who keeps a low profile and does the job without the promises. my focus would be stopping the killing of innocent people in a war that has no purpose. Someone who would take a stand against gay marriage and abortion. Whoever wins will be challenged to keep interest rates low and inflation in check, and keeping the country from instability or bankruptcy. Many people will have to walk from their homes. In this day and age it's all about greed. The US can't even make the interest payments, on their loans and George Bush has sold smart bomb technology to the enemy to try and boost the economy temporarily. The blood of innocent lives lies in his hands. He is the terror that is making American citizens easy targets with his foolishness. Might as well put a bullseye on ur forehead with them getting the smart-bomb technology. The US will now succumb to the Middle-Eastern countries and no longer be a super-power. To think that the Middle East will become democratic, is like thinking that eating toothpaste, is good for u, or that sharks can fly. GW cheated his way into office with Jeb his brother governor of Florida at the time, with that dimpled chad BS. U know he cheated his way in when he announced his winning before the count was thru and the count did not make any sense. He calls himself a Christian, what a joke..and he makes Christians look bad. Hopefully people will look at him as a man operating in his own will, and not someone who is operating in God's will or in partnership with Him. Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall inherit the earth.

God bless u,

Daniel

politics : How many POLITICIANs are required to BREAK A MATCH-STICK ?

politics : How many POLITICIANs are required to BREAK A MATCH-STICK ?

It depends on many factors:

1. How many days has it been since the last election? Is it time to start a Match-stick-breaking exploratory committee yet?

2. Does this matchstick reside in New Hampshire or Florida? If Florida, does the matchbox contain any hanging chads or dimples?

3. Has a motion for matchstick breaking been passed through the House sub-committees yet? Has this motion been written into a bill that contains pork-barrel projects such as a a bridge to nowhere, a tax exemption for a few counties in California, or some kick-backs to companies that sell 'carbon offsets' (by the way, where can I use these carbon offsets I'm supposed to be buying? Home Depot? Best Buy? Wall-Mart?)

4. Is the matchbook red or blue? This could complicate things more than you might think...

5. Does this match-stick fall under the protection of the ADA? Is it being singled out for breaking because of its race, religion, national origin, handicap, veteran status, age, color, sexual orientation or system of beliefs?

6. Has this match-stick been connected with global warming or "climate change"? Does its sulfur emissions affect the atmosphere, rain forests, wetlands, rivers, wildlife reserves, oceans or icecaps?

As I see it currently, it will require about 132,768 politicians approximately 8.2 years to pass proper legislation the break the matchstick. Unfortunately, this legislation will also outlaw sales of mopeds in Wichitaw, Kansas, allow inter-species marriages in Alaska, place trade embargos on any further matchstick or matchstick related imports from Indonesia, and approve the appointment of Richard Simmons to the position of Deputy Attorney General.

I think the need outweighs the consequences...

If George Bush via the Supreme Court did not become President

If George Bush via the Supreme Court did not become President, what might the America look like today?

Bush banished anyone who didn't agree with his personal views, including economists who predicted this economy - so I don't think the recession would have been so bad.

Also we probably wouldn't have gone into Iraq and our environmental policy would be light-years ahead.

EDIT - Bush did not win the election outright as some people here claim. The USSC decided in his favor on 12/12/2000. Several days earlier the USSC halted the Florida recount. And a comprehensive non-partisan review found that Gore won regardless of which standard was applied and even when varying county judgments were factored in. Counting fully punched chads and limited marks on optical ballots, Gore won by 115 votes. With any dimple or optical mark, Gore won by 107 votes. With one corner of a chad detached or any optical mark, Gore won by 60 votes. Applying the standards set by each county, Gore won by 171 votes.
