Fire fighters receive benefits that usually include medical and liability insurance, vacation and sick leave, and some paid holidays. Almost all fire departments provide protective clothing (helmets, boots, and coats) and breathing apparatus, and many also provide dress uniforms. Fire fighters generally are covered by pension plans, often providing retirement at half pay after 25 years of service or if the individual is disabled in the line of duty.
what are the days of the firefighter and police appreciation days at disneyland?
I don't recall a Firefighter's Day at Disneyland for quite a few years now. I believe there was one back in 2007, for Firefighters and Police after the huge fires we had in the fall of that year. And in years past, they used to have a special firefighter's night at Disneyland, where you could pay one low price and ride all the rides (this was before the current pricing structure, when you still needed tickets for each ride). But they haven't had that for at least 12 years.
But they DO have military discounts. Current military service members can get a 3-day pass for free, and the service member can purchase up to 6 3-day passes at a big discount. You have to purchase the tickets at a military base or at the ticket window, and must show valid military ID.
