1500 calories a day should do it.
Eat healthy: eat 3 whole meals a day. For your meals, you want something healthy and that fills you up so that you don't get hungry again for a long time. You need to also make healthy choices like eating whole wheat bread or whole grain bread instead of white bread and brown rice instead of white rice. Cut all junk food. They are bad for you and cause weight gain fast. Cut fast food as well! If you get hungry in between your 3 meals, eat a piece of fruit/vegetable, low-fat yogurt, skim milk, or fruit juice. THey are all good and healthy and will burn fat. As well as eating healthy, combine with exercise and you will lose the weight healthfully and easily. Diets don't work in the long run. When you consume too little, or deprive yourself of certain foods, you are also not getting the essential nutrients. That's why everyone gain the weight back and more in diets. Diet's are a plan for fail. INstead, just focus on eating healthy. You will feel better, look better, and perform better. Opt for a healthy lifestyle, not a fad diet. that's how you lose weight and keep it off for good.
For the exercise, don't overdo yourself. Just walking, jogging for 1 hour each day will be more than enough. Rememeber to rest for 1 day of the week. Also, if 1 hour is too long for you, you can BREAK IT DOWN thorughout the day. Nobody said you have to get it all done in one shot, just do some after you wake up, some in the afternoon myabe, and sometime before or after dinner. It's more managaeable that way. Walking, jogging, running or swimming are aerobic/cardio exercises and they burn the most calories and fat. They will make you strengthen or build your muscle and keep you burning more calories and fat.
eat healthy and exercise is the golden rule of losing weight. Good luck hun :)
How much water should i drink a day?
you should drink when you are thirsty, until you satisfy your thirst.
Popular culture is loaded with myths and half-truths. Most are
harmless. But when doctors start believing medical myths, perhaps it's
time to worry. In the British Medical Journal this week, researchers
looked into several common misconceptions, one of them being the
belief that a person should drink eight glasses of water per day. "We
got fired up about this because we knew that physicians accepted these
beliefs and were passing this information along to their patients,"
said Dr. Aaron Carroll, assistant professor of pediatrics at the
Indiana University School of Medicine. "And these beliefs are
frequently cited in the popular media." Myth: You should drink at
least eight glasses of water a day. Fact: "There is no medical
evidence to suggest that you need that much water," said Dr. Rachel
Vreeman, a pediatrics research fellow at the university and co-author
of the journal article. Vreeman thinks this myth can be traced back to
a 1945 recommendation from the Nutrition Council that a person consume
the equivalent of 8 glasses (64 ounces) of fluid a day. Over the
years, "fluid" turned to water. But fruits and vegetables, plus coffee
and other liquids, count.
Should Australia day be changed?
Why Australia Day should stay the same:
Its in the middle of Summer which is perfect for outdoor activities like barbecues and a game of cricket with the family.
We have a long tradition of having it on that day.
Federation day is on New years day and that is already taken, so we might just as well keep this one.
Changing the day might clash or bring it too close to other national or state public holidays or put it in the dead of winter where celebrating would be difficult.
Why Australia Day should change:
Every other independent country celebrates their national day on the day they became a country. Australia celebrates on the day some foreign country decided to build a maximum security prison.
The celebrations focus on Sydney and not the nation. Outside of Sydney nobody really cares, its just another holiday.
The day celebrates the founding of the colony of New South Wales. This means that the western third of the continent is completely excluded from the celebrations. While most of the modern states were carved out of New South Wales, one was not. Western Australia had been its own independent colony since its foundation. It very nearly didn't join the commonwealth at all. Having Australia day on the day New South Wales was founded is a slap on the face of all Western Australians.
Changing the day would send a powerful message to the world that we as a nation are doing more than just paying lip service to reconciliation with Aboriginal Australia (who call it invasion day).
There are at least two other days that would be more appropriate, The day Captain cook first sighted Australia or the day the Constitution was signed by Queen Victoria, thus signing into effect our nationhood.
