Could I model one day?
1, You not fat unless you are actually overweight sweetie.
2.The fact is anyone and everyone can model because photographers are always looking for different things. There are many different types of modeling but high fashion and runway are the most looked at kinds
3. I'm going to tell you this from expierience,I am what is known as high-fashion petite model. why? because i'm under 5'7 and have a really odd look to me. I cannot do runway easily though because of my height so if you want to get into high fashion or runway modelling you gotta get some height on you and to be honest, you probably wont make it in that industry simply because you are what is known as normal pretty. You are a very pretty girl but your look is very commercial. High fashion models are usually not the prettiest girls you have ever seen and its because they go for more interesting unique girls with odd noses weird eyes high cheekbones and funky bodies.
Comercial models, such as for catologues and what not, simply have to be photogenic and have attractive apeal. You are photogenic so if you decide that you REALLY want to go into modelling I would try for some catologue spreads. also remember this,
modelling is a very cruel and draining profesion, You will be told that you are too fat, too short, too tall, too skinny, too ugly etc... They will make you do things that you do not want to do many of the time and it is not about you at all, its about the picture. also if you cant pose you won't make it.
If you really serious take some modelling classes to learn your angles and poses and really get it down. but really, you have to know who you are before you model cuz otherwise you will be dragged down.
if anyone has used 'Model Days' before, are they good?
Modelling Days can be a great way to get a taster for the industry and to see if modelling is something you really want to pursue full time.
Modelling is a very tough industry though so make sure you think hard about it before committing.
Be very careful if you are approaching freelance photographers to get started, make sure you do your research and always bring a parent or guardian if you are under 18.
Hope that helps.
