'October is national Spina Bifida awareness month AND THE color to bring awareness to Spina Bifida, is Yellow. Some of you might remember that I ORGANISED A SIMILAR event last year in October and the year before, SO this year I have decided to do it again.

For all of you who don’t know, I was born with Spina Bifida and so are about 1,500 babies each year. This year I have decided to make the day to wear yellow, October 26th., so if you have anything YELLOW, whether it’s a shirt, pants, a bracelet, nail polish, etc., please wear IT on Friday October 26th.

I have been asked DOZENS of questions about my disability OVER THE YEARS, SO I don’t mind you ASKING me questions, I don’t find it rude OR EMBARRASSING at all. I can try to answer them the best I can AS I would rather have people understand it better, than to just assume random things, so don’t be afraid to ask.'

I've tried to give your version more of an impact.

Good luck with your efforts.

There are MANY commemorative months celebrated by this nation and/or used to raise awareness. I wonder why republicans take issue with ONLY this particular celebration.

After the 'etc.' The 'please' should have a capital letter.

After 'Also', you should have a comma.

Put a full stop after 'disability' or the sentence looks to long.

"Rude at al".There's a typo on the 'all'.

"Best I can", should be "best THAT I can".

Apart from these little errors, I think it's perfect. And thanks for making me aware of Spina Bifida.

Holidays also on this date Tuesday, October 1, 2024...
