I'm pro-life, but I'd hesitate to tell you to do that on school grounds unless there's an equivalent pro-choice group that passes out materials, etc. Many principals want to avoid conflict, and abortion is the epitome of conflict. Even at your age, there might be girls who have had an abortion among your classmates.

If you must, talk to your principal ahead of time.

who hates pro-life day?!?

Mmm, I know what you mean. I went to a Catholic high school, so pro-life day was all the rage. I refused to do it. My mother was raped when she was in college, and she aborted the child because it wasn't the right time in her life to have a child, and nor did she want to mother the child of the man who raped her and see him looking out of that baby's eyes every day. She then went on to get married to my father and have my brother and I, and we're the most important thing in her life now. So does it offend me when people say "Women who abort hate babies" or similar? Yes, very much so. Pro-life day accomplishes nothing. The idea is to "raise awareness." I'm pretty sure that there's no one over the age of 12 who isn't aware of abortion. We don't need to raise awareness.

That's not to say I'm 100% pro-choice either. When it's some slut who has sex all the time and couldn't be bothered to use protection and has aborted 12 kids, that's just unnecessary and absolutely sad. As a woman who wants to adopt, I can say that I would love it if less woman aborted because there are lots of people waiting to adopt them. But 99% teenagers don't understand anything about abortion- nothing other than the facts and the slanted facts their parents have told them.

pro-life day of silence?

The days of silence are all retarded. They accomplish nothing and just make the people doing it look like a douche. People died for the right to say what you believe, so making valid points would be much better than being silent for a day.

Although I've never heard of pro-life day of silence, but I have heard of the gay day thing. I think it's pretty stupid that they're doing that. Why don't they have a day of silence for all the dead sperm and unfertilized eggs? Just try and annoy the crap out of them and get them to talk to break their dumb silence.
