I think people should be romantic year-round and my fiance and I live by that code and have for our almost 10 years together! We often will buy little presents for each other for no reason (usually about once a month, for example, last month I bought him slippers because I noticed a store had a pair in his size with his favorite sports team logo on them). I think Valentine's Day is a reason for non-romantics to play the dreamy knight in shining armor that they should be every day! It's pathetic!

My fiance proposed on 8-18-08 and on that date we'd been together for 8 years, 8 months and 26 days (2+6=8). We were also both 28 at the time. Got to love crazy 8's! :-) He also did it while we were doing something I loved as a child and continue to enjoy, which made it more special. We're getting married 7-11-2009 and I can't wait!
