The apostle Paul pointed to the secret of this unbreakable unity of the modern-day Christian witnesses of Jehovah God, when he wrote down this command to them: “Walk worthily of the calling with which you were called, with complete lowliness of mind and mildness, with long-suffering, putting up with one another in love, earnestly endeavoring to observe the oneness of the spirit in the uniting bond of peace. One body there is, and one spirit, even as you were called in the one hope to which you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all persons, who is over all and through all and in all.” (Eph. 4:1-6) What a powerful set of things to be enjoyed in common for holding together those who today unite under God’s kingdom, regardless of the nation or race to which they belong at present! This loving unity will hold despite the increasing disunity of this selfish, loveless world, even when the whole worldly system of things crumbles in disunity at its Armageddon in the “war of the great day of God the Almighty.”

Jesus was compassionate toward people! In this he imitated his heavenly Father. Jesus was the personification of love, and he taught his disciples to have true, principled love for one another. They would thus not let race, nationality, economic standing, former religion, or anything else interfere with their international unity. (John 13:34, 35; Acts 10:34, 35) Indeed, Jesus loved people so much that he gave up his life for them. (Ephesians 5:25) He is the kind of ruler this world needs and will get.

Does the racial unity enjoyed by a few—even if these number in the millions—really make that much difference when millions of others are influenced by Satanic ideas of racial superiority? No, we agree that it doesn’t solve the problem of race. It is beyond human efforts to do so. Only our Creator, Jehovah God, can do that.

Happily, very soon now, Jehovah, by means of his Kingdom in the hands of his Son, Jesus Christ, will rid the earth of all injustice and all of those who selfishly promote discrimination and hatred, racial or otherwise. (Daniel 2:44; Matthew 6:9, 10) Then, with a perfect educational program under the administration of Christ, all races will truly become united. As that education progresses, they will live in perfect harmony without any trace of racial discrimination. God’s promise will finally be fulfilled: “The former things have passed away. . . . Look! I am making all things new.”—Revelation 21:4, 5.

Therae R how many kinds of MAN RACE and RELIGIONS on the Earth ?

I'll start with the races. That is the easier question. Generally, and scientifically speaking there are 4 main races. They are the Mongoloid, Caucasoid, Negroid, and Native American. These races (and they are the scientific names) and the mix of these races make up the majority of the population. They were formed as groups of people lived in one geographic reagion for a very long period of time. As their bodies adapted to the environment in which they lived, their bodies formed into the features we know as the races today.

Mongoloid come from people that lived in Mongolia and gradually spread out into Asia. Negroids came out of Africa and spread eastward through India and into Australia. Caucasoidal people came from areas north of the equator. The furthur north you go, the whiter their skin bacame. However, skin color like all other features were adapted to cope with their environments.

Religion is a different matter. Most places throughout the world had a nature based religion at one time or another. These religions are often called Native Religions, however, religions such as Druidism and Wicca came from these traditions. However, polytheistic (multi-god) religions seemed to start in Mesopotamia and the Orient. It was in the Middle East that you first find evidence of monotheistic (single god) religions. The monotheistic religions became dominant in Europe from about the time of Constantine and soon after.

By the time America became a country, there were only a few Christian religions. Gnostic, Catholic, Lutheran, Presbyterian, and some smaller groups like the Puritans and Quakers. Since then it has been a virtual explosion in religion. This is especially true of the Christian ones. So, I will do my best to list as many as I can. These are a bit mixed.

The future of the human race: unity in diversity?

I believe that one day the world will unite. But I would like people not to give up their cultures and religions by accepting some universal one. I'd rather see them learning about each other trying to improve our civilisation. I'd like people to learn how to coexist in peace by building mutual understanding without forgetting individual customs or religions. I would like to see mankind able to discuss global issues in a constructive way. Because we all have the same needs and we suffer from the same problems. This is what should unite us.
