UGH<, don't listen to surfgrl. People are just stupid sometimes. I'm a Stay at home mom and I have a 6 month old so I know how hard it is sometimes to get out. I am involved in MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and they accept members at any age up until 5 years old. What it is a organization that meets regularly and discusses mothering, parenting issues and also ways to enhance yourself as a mom as well as find sanity in the craziness of it all. I should let you know that they are a Christian based organization but I know with my group there is not a lot of a pressure. This is a huge help with finding other moms who are bored and going somewhat stir crazy. Believe me, I know how it feels to need an escape. Also, my husband and I TRY to get out at least once a week in the evenings when we can get a family member to babysit. This way the baby is usually asleep and we can re-connect. This doesn't mean spending money either. We sometimes just to walking around stores or the mall or something. Sometimes a dollar movie is nice. Just be sure to keep your relationship solid. It's so easy to get sidetracked and forget what it's like to be in LOVE. Good luck and if you ever want to talk I'm always looking for someone to connect with!!!!
