Considering you asked this question three days ago, I'm assuming your hand probably feels much better by now...
If your finger joints still hurt, you should probably schedule an appointment with your doctor to have it checked out.
Sometimes when you sleep on your hand wrong, things get cramped up, but they should all stretch back out just fine. If they don't, usually something else is going on in there (that has nothing to do with how you slept on your hand)
If your joints still hurt, it COULD BE an early warning sign of arthritis. (It could be a couple of other things too) It's a lot better to go in and risk a negative test for the chance to catch arthritis early than to risk letting arthritis go unchecked for months on end.
