No restrictor plates? Are you kidding me? Do you know how gosh-darn dangerous that is? If you recall back to 1987-88 I believe, I don't remember the driver at the moment, but during the Talladega race, a tire went down near the start/finish line, he spun, and went airbourne, hitting the fence. That car could've easily flown into the stands, injuring or even worse, KILLING spectators. Top 43 cars is a fantastic idea.
My ideas: Do NOT implement the unlimited testing rule. We are not F1... we are Nascar. Plus the smaller teams will be gone from the sport, which would suck. A lot.
Tweak the COT. Let the crew chiefs get a little creative. That's what they're paid to do. And make them that they are more adjustable in terms of aerodynamics. I want to see more strategy, please.
Spending caps per team. I (even though I'm a J. Gordon fan) am tired of seeing Gibbs, Roush, and Hendrick dominate. They are putting the small teams such as BAM Racing, Wood Brothers, etc., practically out of buisness. They have to find outside investors to infuse cash into their program, to me which is really sad. Richard Petty sold his soul when he sold Petty Enterprises. I feel so bad for the whole Petty family.
Offer price cuts to race fans on things such as fuel, food, etc. You know, every fan gets a gas card, a discount at a grocery store,etc. It'll help them in these tough economic times, and plus, bring the fans.
Make the tracks more fan friendly. Stadium seating, lights, more facilities, would really make a fan's experience great.
Add lights to tracks that don't have them.. for ALL tracks. It would be awesome to see night racing at Dega or Martinsville. Plus, fans don't like to go to the races on a Monday when it was rained out on a Sunday. C'mon, put on some lights!
Help the Nationwide teams with the new COT. Most teams there are fairly low-budget. There's no way that they can build two models of car. How about Nascar build the chassis to the teams that need it? Give them to the teams. Besides, they'll all pass inspection ;)
A greener Nascar. Face it. Times are changing. Pollution is not exactly helping the Earth. ( I don't believe in Global Warming, btw) And It'll make everyone shut up about Nascar polluting everything.
Oh, and make the Daytona 500 start at it's traditional time. I don't like seeing it end at night. It's tradition! And give Darlington back it's Labor Day race, as well as Rockingham and North Wikesboro.

Response: That would be pretty sweet seeing cars do that! 215 down the back? Killer. Yeah, Increase the fencing, I guess you could pull the seats back a bit. But still, it's still a lot worse to wreck going 215 than 190. Death lurks around the corner, no matter what Nascar does. It's never going to be totally safe, I acknowledge that. I've never seen Superspeedway races like that, so It would be kinda neat. But there's always Youtube! :)

I have a NASCAR day pin, I got it at the race because you needed to buy one in order to get Ward Burton's autograph. I probably would have gotten one anyway though, because they're only $5 and the money goes to a lot of good causes.
