Hop A Park Day 2024 is on Friday, July 5, 2024: Is MAY a good month to go to disney what about the best days in the week to avoid crowds

Friday, July 5, 2024 is Hop A Park Day 2024. How to celebrate Hop-a-Park Day July 6 is Hop-a-Park Day.

Hop A Park Day

Hop A Park Day encourages you to definitely go to the local parks in your town, and also to enjoy public space reserve tor relaxation and relaxation. Bigger or handled parks frequently host occasions about this day, from cookouts to sporting occasions – why don't you discover what’s happening at the local park and participate in?

Is MAY a good month to go to disney?? what about the best days in the week to avoid crowds??

Yup! Visiting all 4 parks in one day can be done. I'm walking proof. My husband and I took my sister to Disney World last June and we purchased a 1 day park hopper to save money and we saw almost everything! And this was in late June when crowds are at theur peak!

You have to learn how to work with the crowds, not against them. And know what is going on the day you are visiting the parks so you know how to work around events. For example, if a parade is going on and you could care less about it - this is a great time to run over to your favorite ride or attraction for a minimal wait time.

If it starts to rain, throw on your pre-bought poncho (Wal Mart or Target has great ones for cheap) and hop in line when everyone else is scurrying to buy one or run for shelter.

Check which park will be having extra magic hours the day you wish to visit. You can check this by visiting and clicking on "Calendar." Whichever parks are listed for the eearly magic hours, avoid visiting that park first. All of the Disney resort guests will be there that morning and it will be super crowded first thing. Start your day at another park and finish at the park with extra magic hours.

Wear GOOD walking shoes and pack a bottled water into the bottom of your bag to refill throughout the day. Once you've determined what park you will visit last that day, figure out where you'd like to have dinner andf make your reservations 180 days before you visit by calling 1-800-WDW-DINE. Have breakfast at your hotel and wing it for lunch, depending on where you're at in the afternoon. But definitely make reservations for dinner and make it for later in the evening - like 7 or 7:30pm so you have plenty of time to get to that park.

Take advantage of the fast passes. If a wait time is under 45 minutes, don't do the fast pass, just get in the stand by line. If the fast pass return time is too late in the day (when you plan to be at another park), either get in the stand by, or visit that attraction on your next visit and move on.

Here are the must sees of each park - see them and move on!

Early May is a good time to visit. You may have to deal with some early summer vacationers, but it shouldn't be too bad. Just avoid visiting any theme park on a weekend. Stick to weekdays.

As for Universal Studios... Islands of Adventure really requires a full day. It is an amazing theme park! Universal - not so much. You could spend a half day here, but you may get bored. I say skip Universal this time and spend a full day at Islands! Best coasters on earth!

Disneyland 1 day park hopper ticket info?

Disneyland 1 day park hopper ticket info?

No.

A one day Park Hopper allows you to visit both parks as many times as you like in one day, hopping back and forth. Since it is a One Day ticket, it is only valid on that one day.

You are looking for a Two Day One Park ticket which allows you to visit one park one day and the second on a different day. You cannot visit both parks the same day, so no park hopping. And the tickets expire 13 days after first use, so you must visit the second park in that time period; visiting a month later will have allowed the tickets to expire and you will be denied entry.

*** Disneyland question ***?

A "park hopper" means that you can "hop" between the two parks at the Disneyland Resort, which are the original Disneyland Park and the newer Disney California Adventure. For example, you may start the day off at Disneyland, ride a few rides, and then go over to Disney California Adventure during the afternoon. The other option are the "1 park per day" tickets which means that you can only go to the specific park of your choice during that certain day, and can't switch over.

The difference between a 2 day and a 3 day ticket are as the name implies, one ticket is good for entry into the parks for two days, and the other allows you to enter into the park for three days.

The best time to go depends on when you're available. During busier months like the summer months and winter months, weekdays that are not by holidays are ideal. There will be crowds, but the weekdays, especially Tuesday and Wednesday, are less crowded than weekends. Never go on the days that surround a holiday, like the day after Thanksgiving, or on New Year's Eve.

In the off season, like the middle of September, the parks are not crowded during the weekdays. However, if you look at the calender for park hours on the Disneyland website, you will see that the park opens at ten rather than eight, and the park closes at eight rather than midnight these days. Whereas if you went on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, though it will be more crowded during the weekdays, the park normally stays open until midnight and open at eight. Six more hours in the park in contrast to less crowds.

Here's Disneyland's calender. Not only is it useful to see what the park hours will be during your visit, but you can check to see what rides will be down for refurbishment and what the show hours will be in advance, allowing you to begin planning what you want to do inside the park:

You may also want to use this calender, a "crowd-tracker", which takes into consideration the time of month and holidays and gives a prediction of how bag the crowds will be on a scale of "ghost town" to "forget about it". It's pretty accurate the majority of the time:

Also, whenever you decide to go, arrive in the morning, a little before opening, so you can be in the park right when it opens. It's the ideal time to be in the park because for the first few minutes, you can walk onto any attraction without a line, and the first hour it remains generally uncrowded.

Don't forget to use the fastpass system (). It's free and seriously reduces the amount of time you need to wait in line for major attractions. Insert your tickets into the machine and receive fastpasses to return to that attraction later in the day. You can get new fastpasses every two hours, or after the first return time, even if it is less than two hours away.

As far as "getting a good deal" on tickets is concerned, DO NOT use websites like eBay, there is no way to guarantee that the tickets are legitimate. And, chances are, they're not. Sometimes you can save a little bit by purchasing them through AAA or some grocery stores/local motels. There is also a military discount. However, you're not going to save much. The Disneyland website is the easiest and safest way to go. Here's way to buy tickets, and they have various options about the number of days and if you want park-hoppers or 1 park per day tickets:

If you want a "good deal" at a hotel, try some of the neighboring hotels rather than an official Disneyland Hotel. The Disneyland Hotels are definitely magical, but they are expensive, and if you want to save lots of money, there are plenty of perfectly nice hotels located very close to the park. Think about it, how much time are you going to be spending in the hotel room? You're going to be in Disneyland, so you don't need a luxurious hotel room. Also, consider booking through a site like Expedia. I've heard great reviews and stories from people getting pretty good hotels for great prices.

Inside the park, bring your own water bottle and use drinking fountains rather than buying their pricey bottled water.

Buy the larger size of drinks and split them between members of your party. It's not much more for a bigger size, and it's much more reasonable than paying the full price of regular sized drinks for everyone in your party.

Along the same lines, think about splitting meals/snacks with who you're with. Some of the portions at Disneyland are quite generous and more than one person can eat by themselves.

Avoid spending money on a locker and bring only the necessities a small bag/backpack inside the park.

I hope this advice helped, and I hope you have a magical trip to the happiest place on Earth!
