Jazz Day encourages jazz fans around the globe to go to or start jazz festivals, occasions and parties. A good in the trumpet, saxophone, piano or Clarinet? Most probably not all at one time, but you get the drift.

Check out Carla Bruni: French, folkish although she's expanded a bit with jazz and other influences on her last album. Check out "Quelqu'un M'a Dit," which appears on the movie and soundtrack to (500) Days Of Summer.

A good German choice is Wir Sind Helden, a rock group from Berlin that has a new wave flavour at times. Their album Die Reklamation is amazing and is worth checking out.
