It's intriguing, but you keep switching tense. Pick past tense or present tense and write the whole thing in one tense. (How repetitive do I sound? tense-tense-tense. Ha-ha!)

Also, you're using "he seemed to, seemingly...etc", 'seem' in general too much. If your MC is making an assessment of someone else, that's already clear since it's written first person.

BTW, I LOVE your opening. I don't know what it is, but I really liked it.

I think it could be more... I also think that maybe your dream was telling you that you do kind of like him, even though you dont realize it. I cant say much about him though. Guys are really confusing. Just listen to your heart and I think you'll be fine. :) I hope this helps a little.

The sexual part of your dream could just be sparked by your own need or loneliness or hormonal situation. If our bodies are "ready for intimacy", sex dreams can come about for any reason or nothing at all. It obvious you wouldn't mind being intimate with him, so that may have something to do with him being the object of your affection.

As far as the friendship with object of your dreams, he just could be in the dream because he is a bit of a "kind mystery". You don't know him enough to find any fault in him yet so he is "dreamy" so to speak.

It is good that he talks to you, but there are some guys who talk to others about their problems. It is obvious that you have let him know, aware or unaware, that you are open to his friendship and perhaps more. Just take it one step at a time, don't be too fake or inviting, be honest, and let the friendship happen.
