Meditation/Depression? I need a bit of help?
Wow it sounds like you have been going through quite a time. I understand how you are feeling. It is not easy feeling that way and trying to live the day to day life. But its great that you reached out on here. That takes a lot of strength. It also shows you have the want and the ability to change.
Meditation is a great idea. It will help relax you and calm your brain down. Trying that in combination with medication might be something that will work well for you. Do you have any thoughts about how to go about meditating? Sometimes just imaging that you are in a field where you are safe sometimes help. Go to the that field and then imagine doing something that makes you happy.

Try that and see if it helps. Otherwise go online and try there to find some different techniques. Some people find working out is a good way to "meditate" and help themselves. This will also help with the weight loss. Go the the gym. Get some great music on and go to town.
