Family Wellness Month on May, 2024: Do you Like Wellness Dog Food?

Wellness is a great food. My whole family has had great results with it. My 2 year old yorkie loves it and is thriving. As are my mother's GSD and her 7 month old Airedale.
My yorkie is on the Chicken recipe but he LOVES chicken more than anything on this Earth. The Airedale and GSD are on the puppy recipe. I dont think the flavor really matters, just whatever your dog will eat. It's a very good thing you are thinking about switching to a GREAT food.
Once you switch to a food you know your dog is getting all of the proper nutrients from, dont fuss over the food. Any healthy dog wouldn't starve themselves. Even on Wellness, my dog will hold out for a treat when he gets hungry. But when he doesn't get it, he will chow down on his food.
Whats YOUR opinion on Wellness Cat food?
I love WELLNESS - especially CORE! And so does my cat family. I a four year old Maine Coon with urinary tract issues and I also have two kittens that are 7 months old. All of their coats are so soft, they are very healthy and they eat the food just fine - no complaints!!
It is very high grade food with only human grade quality ingredients, it is compared to the "raw diet" in kibble form, it has the most protein out of any food on the market, no grains and where the price is a little spendy - I believe it is totally worth it to feed our "best friends" the best!!
I strongly support the Old Mother Hubbard company and hope they never change their formulas and they avoid getting bought out by bigger companies!! (Like Purina, Nutro, Mars etc.)
Add: Thought I would also add the ingredients of Wellness Core as well:
Deboned Turkey, Deboned Chicken, Chicken Meal, Whitefish Meal, Potatoes, Salmon Meal, Natural Chicken Flavor. AND - if Pang is checking back on this answer - I work with a rescue and we have been noticing a lot of cats actually coming up with food allergies more frequently than we used to, main symptom being diarreah - Wellness is a great food - so definitely keep them on that - but try switching to CORE only because it is COMPLETELY grain free and grains are what we are finding to be the MAIN allergens in animals these days! If we think about their diet in the wild - it is strictly carnivorus - other than some grass here and there - they don't consume grains. If Wellness Core is too spendy - you can also try Natural Balace Pea and Duck - it is also grain free - but Wellness Core is the better of the two in my opinion! They also offer grain free wet food now - you just have to look on the can :)
