3 months in the USA, what should I do?

It depends where you are going to be. West, South, Northern, South-East... California is very cool. The weather is terrific, (I here the Ice cream truck! YES!), the beach is great - the water is cold, that is one downside, and the malls are AWESOME. (Been to Hollywood, Los Angles, Santa Rosa, and Irvine).

The Grand Canyon is in Arizona (hottest state, i believe), but it's just a canyon, you might be more interested in other things.

Las Vegas, Nevada is probably only fun if your 21 (I'm a poet and I didn't even know it!). New York City would probably be very fun and if you're from Europe, a shorter flight.

Texas(the 2nd largest state) ... Where I'm from ... Yes, they are stereotypical people who think we are stupid and la la la. But there is the Blue Bell factory, the best ice cream - ask anyone. There is also the NASA Space Center in Houston. Galveston Island has a good beach (not sure about "Galveston" Galveston). Also, Texas has the best Barbeque, just saying. It's hot in the summer, so you'd need shorts. Winter is still jeans and a light jackset - not usually snow. The downside is Texas is so big it might be hard to fit in all the good stuff in a short amout of time. (and Sea World in Texas rocks)

Colorado has skiing and anything to do with snow, so if you want snow I'd head up there.

Florida has the best beach, warm weather, but alligators and sharks which I am deathly afraid of (girls, ay?). Most people talk the best about Miami, but I'm sure any city has a great beach. It also has Disney World (California has Disney Land - smaller), but I don't know if you care about that.

Hawaii rocks and is soooo cool! But, of course, it's way far away and I'm sure it's expensive (8 hours from Texas...)

Washington DC is a short flight from New York, Washington D.C. - th providence, not Washington State. There you can see the US Nation's Capital, the White House, the Washington Monument, and walk around the Mall.

Yellow Stone National Park, Virginia has hot springs, geysers, and et cetera. Probably slightly more interesting than the Grand Canyon.

Lastly,

New Orleans (it's Or-lens, not Or-leans... people...), Louisiana (Louise-e-anna not Lou-zee-anna) is the place for jazz. But you probably only want to head over there during Marti Gras. Also the Myrtle Plantation.

Oh! Almost forgot! Real fast run through of a few other places - Austin, Texas (Keep Austin Weird!) Crazy town and great for a music scenery! Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. And Gaitlinburg, Tennessee for horse back riding!
