Universal Human Beings Week on March, 2025: Are they breaking any basic humans rights?
Universal Human Beings Week 2025. sharpeye: Universal Human Beings Week 1st March Universal Human Beings Week
Israel is violating most of the articles of the Universal Declaration Of Human Rights with respect to the Palestinians:
Article 1 All human beings are equal in dignity and rights. (Palestinians and Israelis are not treated equally)
Article 2 Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms without distinction of any kind, such as religion (Muslims and Christians are not treated equally to Jews)
Article 3 Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person. (liberty and security for the Palestinians have been missing since Israel occupied their land)
Article 5 No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment. (torture, cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment and punishment are Israeli normal practice with the Palestinians)
Article 7 All are equal before the law without any discrimination (discrimination against Arabs is the norm)
Article 9 No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest, detention or exile. (arbitrary arrests without trials and deportations are all too common)
Article 12 No one shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with his privacy, family, home (Israeli soldiers occupy Palestinian homes all too often)
Article 13 Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each state. (Movement is severely restricted with 600 road blocks within the West Bank alone. Many roads that dissect the West Bank, which are built over confiscated Palestinian lands, are designated Jewish only roads)
Article 15 Everyone has the right to a nationality. (Zionists deny that Palestinians even exist, never mind allowing them to have a nationality)
Article 17 Everyone has the right to own property. No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his property. (Palestinian land confiscation happens all the time. Thousands of Palestinian homes are demolished. Building permits are hardly given. Just last week, Israeli court ordered the demolition of 88 Palestinian homes housing 1500 people in East Jerusalem to build a tourist site)
Article 18 Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion. (Most Palestinian Muslims and Christians are given the right to access their holy sites in Jerusalem such as Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre)
Article 20 Everyone has the right to freedom of peaceful assembly and association. (peaceful assemblies and associations are met with tear gas and metal coated rubber bullets, and too often with live ammunition)
Article 21 Everyone has the right to take part in the government of their country, directly or through freely chosen representatives. (When the Palestinian elected their representatives in democratic elections, Israel rounded up the elected representatives and put them in jail, and the US lead the world to boycott the elected Palestinian government)
Article 23 Everyone has the right to work, (With the constant Israeli economic blockade of the Palestinian territories, and the hundreds of road blocks, and the isolation of Palestinians from their farms through the Apartheid Wall that Israel built around and through the West Bank, the Palestinian right to work and earn a living has lost all meaning)
Article 25 Everyone has the right to a standard of living … including food, clothing, housing and medical care (Israel has blockaded Gaza for more than 2 years cutting basic supplies including electricity, fuel, gas and even often food and medicine. Gazans are not even allowed to leave to Egypt to obtain medical treatment they can not obtain in the poorly equipped hospitals of Gaza. Villagers in the West Bank often die at road blocks trying desperately to reach hospitals in cities)
Article 26 Everyone has the right to education. (This right is gone with the constant forced closures of schools and universities in the West Bank, and the recent destruction of many schools in Gaza. Even when the schools are open, many students can not reach them because of the Israeli road blocks)
Isn't human existence impossible?
Technically existence is not so much a thing as it is a concept. Existence is the results of a lot of other things taking place. There is existence on many levels so I would not be so inclined to say that it is impossible. There is existence in that we do exist. I think it's amazing that for some reason we can't agree on how the world came to exist. It seems as if we could reach some agreement about how it all started we could teach those principles in school and make the world a different place.Instead what we do is debate the issue and spend most of our energy trying to keep the issues separate when what we should want to do is create a unified theory that benefits everyone involved. As human beings it seems as though we want to keep everything, including our ideas and theories in separate arenas so that they wont interfere with each other . It would appear that the more commonalities that exist between different factions, the easier it would be to really educate ourselves about how the world really works. If we teach the concept that God is this person up in heaven, we find it difficult to accept that we all have these God like, Christ like qualities that come to the surface when we live our lives in a certain way We don't see ourselves as having a great deal of power and control over our lives because we structure our beliefs so that those powers and controls reside somewhere outside ourselves. In this society we are encouraged to give that power to other ideas, corporations and products and even to religious beliefs because we are so easily convinced that religion means spirituality and clearly it does not. The miracle of change is often reduced to the clothes we choose to wear on whatever day of the week or to the kind of car we drive to which event. We down grade the change of seasons and take that for granted because it always happens, just like clockwork. We fail to see all that there is involved in nature and the different species of animals. Life gives us all the examples we need to educate ourselves about the importance of existence. Life also gives us free-will to choose and we choose according the progress we've made at different points in our prior and present existences. It's easy to see why the world is the way it is when we pay attention to the choices that we have made as a society. There's a balance that has to be maintained and fortunately that balance has some universal laws that have to be considered. We have free-will and at the same time there are consequences for every choice we make. We control our fate to some degree by what we choose and what we agree to. There are agreements on a conscious level and agreements on a soul level but regardless balance is important. Experience gives us an opportunity to adjust and create new balances. Change gives us the opportunity to become the people we once were not. Everything is energy and that's what really matters. Our values are not always in line with what the truth really is. That's why we are where we are doing the things that we do. Once we're here it matters less how it all started and more that we do exist in the same world.
Why is there a 24 week limit on abortion?
sick how you can kill an innocent baby but not a mass murderer or child molester.
