In what nation? I am all but positive that there is no national dolphin day in Botswana, if that answers your question. (And that's really odd if you think about it, as Ungwatsi is the closest human language I know of to dolphin, you'd think there would be an appreciation there.) National parks to visit in New Zealand?

Without doubt Tasman National Park and Fiordland National Park.

Tasman National Park is beautiful. There are amazing golden beaches. You can hire kayaks and kayak around the bays, pitch your tent for a night, then kayak around to the next bays.

Fiordland National Park is stunning too. There are lots of walks you can do. Some day walks, others longer. If you want to do longer walks it pays to book and get in contact with DOC (Department of Conservation). Milford Sound is a must, go out on to the Sound and you might see dolphins and seals.

I haven't been to any of the North Island national parks, but I'm sure they are worth a look too.

How many days should I spend at Big Island, Maui, and Oahu?

OAHU: 2-3 days, its not large doesn't require a car (The Bus) and less things to do than the other islands. I was disappointed with Oahu it's pretty but its more of a city

MAUI: 4-7 days, RENT A CAR!!

Visit the little tropical town of Hana, The drive down Hana Highway is one of the most scenic drives in the world, with many lookouts to stop for photos. Hana: maui stables is a great horseback riding tour, wai'anapanapa state park has a great black sand beach, Hana lava tubes, Maui Garden of Eden & Arboreatum, Kahanu Garden, an nice place and an ancient Polynesian place of worship & pilanihani heiau ancient ruins, Hana bay is great swimming and snorkeling.

On the winding road to Hana is a lovely stop at a three tiered flower covered waterfall, Waikane Falls! Waikamoi ridge trail is nice floral hike on the road to Hana. A nice stop along Hana highway is Pau'a Ka'a State Park it has a really nice waterfall pool you can swim in.

. Hike in bamboo forest at the Oheo Gulch there is a nice waterfall in there , A beach but kind of more of a hike along the ocean since the beach is lava, La Perouse Bay. Hike up the hill to see Fagans Cross in Hana. Hoapili trail is a nice hike through lava cliffs, it gets hot walking along the lava, there is a salt water pond you can find and swim in. Kings highway hiking trail is most scenic hiking trail, Makamakaule trail has a nice waterfall. Acid war zone trail down to the Nakalele Blowhole on Rt 340 in Kahakuloa, awesome. Just drive down rt 340 great scenery. Halemaumau trail a 3 1/2-mile hike starts at the visitor center, goes down 500 feet to the floor of Kilauea crater, crosses the crater, and ends at Halemaumau Overlook. Pipiwai trail goes through a rainforest towards a 400 foot waterfall in Haleakala National Park. Haleakala national park if you drive up to the summit to watch the sunrise and stay there for the sunset which I truly reccomend as both are amazing, make a day of just hanging and hiking in the park but you have to wake up really early to see the sunrise but its so worth it, cannot stress this enough! bring a jacket it gets chilly up there.The gulch is in this park and park is accessed on Hana highway. See the Iao Valley State monument in Iao Valley State Park.

Black rock beach in kaanapali is good for snorkeling, Napili beach in Lahaina is great for snorkeling. Ka'anapali Beach is a great beach, one of the best in maui,Ho'okipa beach park is good for surfing and windsurfing in paia. Wailea beach is nice but busy, Ulua Beach in Wailea sometimes. Kapalua beach is another good snorkeling beach. kaihalulu beach is great!! It has red sand and is hidden, great spot to chill and escape the crowds. Palau'ea beach is another quiet beach in Wailea. Mokapu Beach park nice beach that isn't too crowded and has some shade to hang out in located in Wailea. Launiupoko beach park is a good spot for new surfers. Waihee beach has lots of maui resident & locals. Honoloa Bay has the best snorkeling, get there early.

Take a ferry to Lanai and Molokai for day trips to explore other hawaiian islands, half day per island to save time for maui, these islands are like true old hawaii. See molokini crater, snorkeling and swimming is great. Clear kayaks maui!! Palapalhuma church in kipahulu is where Charles Lindbergh is buried, tropical peaceful place. Drive down the north loop coastal rd of hwy 30, spectacular views. Whale watching at island marine institute in Lahaina.

Hike down to kealakekua bay, akaka falls state park, kapoho tide pools, kaihalulu beach is great for snorkeling, punaluu beach park features a black sand beach where you can see sea turtles and I thought was one of he coolest parks on big isle, captain cook monument, kings trail ride horseback riding, Waialea beach awesome beach a local recommended, white sand beach in Kailua-kona gets its name from its white sand and has great surf, pu'u O trail, puako bay is a nice secluded beach, thurston lava tube, Kailua pier great for shopping, restaurants, and bars, rainbow falls in Hilo, queens bath, onomea bay, scenic drive own mamalahoa highway which goes from Kailua- kona to Hilo, twin falls.
