It's very easy to forget precisely how important, valuable and necessary good doctors are – that's, before you get sick or sustain am injuries. Doctors Day puts hard-working doctors the main attraction, and encourages us to become considerate from the lengthy hrs they work, their empathy, and also the effort installed into practicing medicine.

The United States Congress passed a resolution in 1990 stating:

“Whereas society owes a great debt of gratitude to physicians for the contributions of physicians in enlarging the reservoir of scientific knowledge, increasing the number of scientific tools, and expanding the ability of health professionals to use the knowledge and tools effectively in the never ending fight against disease and

Whereas society owes a debt of gratitude to physicians for their sympathy and compassion of physicians in ministering to the sick and in alleviating human suffering: Now, therefore be it

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That:

March 30, 1991, is designated as “National Doctors’ Day,” and

The President is authorized and requested to issue a proclamation calling on the people of the United States to observe the day with appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities."

March 30th is the anniversary of the first use of ether anesthesia in surgery by Dr. Crawford W. Long. (YAY, ANESTHESIA!)

Eudora Brown Almond and the Barrow County Medical Society in Georgia recognized this accomplishment and celebrated the first Doctors Day on March 30, 1933.

First of July has been designated as Doctors’ Day in India.

very doubtful any alcoholic residue will be detected in blood after 2 days it normally takes 12 to 24 hours for alcohol to leave the body's system

if doctor did or has a suspician that you have been drinking it's his/her duty to inform parents as you are underage

but is very doubtfull he/she will

You'll get the "Dr's note" for the day on which you CONSULTED the doctor. If the appointment has been made, you can always ask them to draw up a letter confirming the day on which you called to book the appointment. Also stating that they were able to secure a spot for you for next week only. Hope you feel better soon
