Hmmm...How about what I always try to do? Be honest, keep my word, do the right thing even if it's not popular, take care of the people closest to me, and try to help someone if I can.

Does this essay for the National Honor Society sound good?

Sentences are a little choppy towards the beginning. Maybe add some impressive-sounding adjectives here and there?
