Mine yo-yo's all the time but I've got other things going on.

Depends on how much of a yo-yo, and how often, and duration. Also any triggers that sort of thin. Take the to you doctor and advise him/her that you are concerned.

You should also ask your doc about setting you up with an Endocrinologist and have them handle you Diabetes.

advice for beginning yo-yo enthusiast?

Yo Yo's are a lot of fun, I have been doing tricks since I was a kid (long long ago)

I have a trick YO YO right now that I was showing my grandson the other day (he just got his first one)

You need a good slip YO YO that makes it a little harder to wind up, but if it does not slip good, tricks are very hard to do

1st thing you should practice is "Hesitation" let it go all the way down, and just let it spin at the bottom until the last minute then pop it back up

From learning this you can do "Walk the dog" hesitate, and let it roll on the floor then pick it up and pop it back to your hand

You will miss catching it sooner or later, if you do try to wrap it and re-pop it back up to your hand this is called "Around the World"
